Concrete Masonry Design Awards LAB TECH Courses

The Concrete Masonry Design Awards is a program that recognizes and encourages outstanding architectural design that incorporates concrete masonry.
The program also recognizes the Designers, Builders, Craftsmen, Structural Engineering Firm, Concrete Masonry Supplier, and the Owners.

This annual program is sponsored by the Concrete Masonry Association of California and Nevada (CMACN) and co-sponsored by AIA California Council.
 
Classroom and laboratory sessions offered four times a year in Los Angeles, San Diego and Sacramento/Bay Area for:

  • Lab Managers/Supervisors
  • Lab Technicians
  • Plant Quality Control
  • Supervisors
  • Masonry Technical Service Reps
  • Construction Specifiers
  • Inspectors

Course instruction alternates between classroom and laboratory settings. Course instruction reviews in detail, the requirements of various masonry testing standards published by ASTM and other organizations and discusses important concepts necessary to properly evaluate the properties of concrete masonry and concrete masonry materials.

concrete masonry association of California and Nevada (CMACN), a non profit professional organization established in October 1977, committed to strengthening the masonry industry in California and Nevada.
