Lookup Table

small logo

The dynamic lookup table will allow the user to determine the U-Factor, C-Factor and heat capacity of a particular wall by entering the thickness, weight, and grout properties of that wall. The most popular combinations of wall are a thickness of 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, and 12 inches of light, medium, or normal weight. Properties for solid clay units are only available for those under 8 inches, and properties for solid concrete units are available for all thickness. In order to determine R-Value from the U-Factor, take the reciprocal of the U-Factor. For example, if the U-Factor is 0.69 then the R-Value is 1/0.69=1.45. The "Frame Type" describes the type of furring that is used for the interior or exterior insulation.
